So, I know I will get in trouble by Dr.Ford (and I already got it from my Mom even though she rode at 5 months too) but I rode Hank this Saturday! I was so stressed out and couldn't calm down so Brandon helped me load up the truck and trailer with Hank, Josey, Halle and of course Parker. We headed to Holybee arena where I did everything except throw the saddle up on his back (my dad helped with that task.) I broke my rule of "If you can't saddle the horse and get on by yourself then you shouldn't ride." Oops. Oh well. I only rode three events...on Golfette I tried to take it easy but it was rough so on Barrels and Pylons I just let him go his natural speed and it was a lot smoother!! I didn't get the golfball (because I didn't want to lean too far) and I hit a cone but we were only a couple of seconds of our normal times. It felt so good to ride! I could feel the knot in my chest disappear as soon as I arrived at the arena. I won't be riding fast anymore but I don't regret it!
Another major positive after riding was that I woke up the next morning feeling mentally GREAT!! I laid in bed and felt RylieMarie move for the first time! Such a cool feeling--I think she was bounced around so much the night before and had fun doing it she was a wiggle worm to do it all again! :-)
Okay, now I am on the hunt for a Pregnancy To Do Countdown Calender. We all know I am a procrastinator so I NEED this so I make sure and get everything done!
Have a great day...
Shannon
